The next morning they woke up in Jemacore lying down in the grass. Stuart was the first on to wake up. When he got up he prayed to God to give them a meal.
Soon when the other Jefferson woke up they saw a big feast with everything they could eat, eggs, toast, pancakes, waffles, and lots more!

“Were did all this food come from?” Mrs. Jefferson asked.

“I prayed to God to give us this nice feast,” Stuart said.

They all started eating and eating and then God said, ”You must start on the ark, but tomorrow you can take a brake,”

Once they were all done eating they started to work. Mrs. Jefferson helping Suzie and some Angles nail together wood, Stuart, Adam, and some other Angles marking the wood along with cutting it.

They had worked for a long time and Mrs. Jefferson said she had to leave.

“Bye mom, see you tonight?” Suzie asked.

“Of coarse, I will be back her tonight,” Mrs. Jefferson answered.

As soon as Mrs. Jefferson left they kept on working and working until dark came and they had a little party for all the hard work they had done. Angles danced while Suzie said with her beautiful voice. Adam and Stuart danced with some of the animals that came to join this party.

“Looks like you have a done a good job,” Jontheya said.

“Why thank you, Jontheya,” Stuart said.

A little while later Mrs. Jefferson appeared at the top of the cliff, Stuart ran to meet her. When he got to the end of the slope he saw her mother in a bright green dress that made her look so gorges that everyone stared at her. Her dress was light green and had vines of flowers sewed into her dress. She had make-up on, for Stuart was surprised for he had never seen his mother wear make-up before in his life!
He walked up to her mother, grabbed her hand and walked her down toward the party.

“Mother, why are you wearing a dress? You didn’t even know there was going to be a party,” Stuart asked.

“You don’t know that, I was the one who planned it with God,” Mrs. Jefferson said.

“Well, you look beautiful,” Stuart told his mother.

“Thank you,” Mrs. Jefferson said.

‘When they got to the party Stuart danced with his mother and then with his sister. He mother stood out like a rose in the middle of a patch of daisies, compared to all the rest of the Jefferson kids who were just wearing dirty jeans and a dirty shirt’ Stuart though.

“Don’t worry, Stuart. Nobody is worrying about how you look,” God told him.

“How did you know I was thinking that?” Stuart asked.

“I am God and I know everything,” God said.

“Oh, that’s right,” Stuart said, “Is that good?”

“What do you think?” God asked.

“I think it would be great,” Stuart said.

“Right,” said God.

Suzie sang a lot of songs like, Beauty and the Beast, and one Stuart didn’t know they name. But that was ok to him; he loved his sister’s voice.

For three more hours they danced and sang and laughed. Later that night Stuart thought that this was the best night of his night and that when his dad got back he would tell him all about this place.

Now here is chapter 8!

The next morning the decided to go home for the day, for God had told them that they were going to take a rest and so the Jefferson family thought it would be wise to go back to their real home and do some cleaning up.

“Oh, I don’t want to go back home, I love this place,” Adam said.

“Well, you and your sister and brother can go back to Jemacore once you clean your room,” Mrs. Jefferson said.

Once they got home they found that ball, which was not broken, and put it back into the trunk, all the kids went upstairs except for Stuart who had a question for his mother to answer,” Mother,” he asked, “How did you even find the globe and get here?”

“Well, uhh, you see,” his mother sighed,” I new about this place long before you guys did. I had the trunk locked up in the attic where nobody would find it. I put the trunk here in the living room because I thought it was the right time for you to know,”

“What?” Stuart asked.

“I know it’s hard to believe but it’s true! I’m sorry I did that but I just didn’t want…you see, I thought it would danger our lives,”

“How?” Stuart asked.

“I thought you might tell someone and then they would… you know?” Mrs. Jefferson said,” do something to us and try to get their hands on it,”

“Oh, but why couldn’t you trust us?” Stuart asked, “You can trust as no matter what, mom,”

“You haven’t called me mom for a long time,” Mrs. Jefferson said.

“Wait a minute, mom, did you know about the flood?” Stuart asked.
“Yes, I also put the trunk out their because God and I new that you were the one to build this ark,” Mrs. Jefferson said.
“I know, but why couldn’t you just tell me and show the trunk to me….I wouldn’t have believed you at first but then you could show Jemacore to me,” Stuart said.

“I’m sorry,” Mrs. Jefferson said,” I thought that since you wouldn’t like the house I thought this would be good for you, so you can forget about this place,”

“I know, mom, but why couldn’t you just tell me?” Stuart asked and ran upstairs.

He found Adam in their room,” Where were you? I really did all the cleaning up,”

“Please go get Suzie, I have something to tell you,” Stuart said.

Adam left the room and got Suzie and when they were back Stuart told them about their mom knowing about Jemacore and the trunk the whole time.

“So mom knew and she didn’t tell us because she thought it would put us in danger?” Adam asked.

“Yeah,” Stuart said.

“You guys can’t be mad at mom. She said if it was for our own good,” Suzie said.

“I know, but why couldn’t just she just trust us?” Stuart asked.

“Come on, lets go and talk to mom,” Suzie said.

They all went down stairs to talk to their mom. They looked in the living room, she wasn’t there, but they saw that the lid of the trunk was open. They went over to it and tried to find the ball. Once they found it they stood it up straight and then all put their hands on top of it. They closed their eyes and when they opened them they were in Jemacore.
They walked down the slope and Stuart said, “Mom!”

“What?” Mrs. Jefferson said.

“Come here,” Stuart said.

A little while later their mom got to them and Stuart said,” Mom, I’m sorry. I was just surprised,”

“I know,” Mrs. Jefferson said, “I should have told you earlier,”

“No, mom. It was for our own good,” Stuart said.

The Jefferson family hugged everyone. That night they came back and slept in Jemacore and then the next morning they started to work on the ark.

Hi Natalie,

Sorry I haven’t had time to comment (or read the story.) I’ve been really busy. And, I mostly can’t get on the computer a lot all the time. I’ll read it sometime. Looks really good :) Keep up the good work! (Oh yea, to answer your question, I write my diary all from my head!)
